Class Description-

This is our first level agility class with the foundation skills you need to get on equipment. This class is recommended for dogs who are 4 months and older. We will introduce:  Clicker Training, proprioception, hind end awareness for your dog, shaping, rewarding, toy play, mat work, plank walking, and targeting skills. Minimal agility equipment will also be introduced-tunnel, table, and tire. 

Prerequisites

• Dogs must be potty trained (there is a fine for accidents in the arena)
• Dogs must be at least 4 months old
• Dogs must be working on having a solid STAY and SIT
• Dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper
• Dogs may not be aggressive with dogs or people

Saturday Mornings

Class Size:  maximum 10 teams (handlers may only handle ONE dog in this class)

Class Dates: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/22 **No class on 10/15 (see our online calendar for these dates also)

Cost: $180 **A 3.5% surcharge will be assessed on payments by credit card

Nights/Times: Saturday mornings at 8:30AM (arrive at 8:15 AM to walk your dogs beforehand)
